Alignment with Global Goals, National Priorities & Local Context

Our educational initiatives are closely aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and quality education for all and promote lifelong learning. By addressing specific targets laid out in SDG 4, such as improving educational quality, promoting lifelong learning, and ensuring inclusive education, we contribute to the global agenda for sustainable development.

At the national level, we recognize education as a priority area for social developmental initiatives. GPIL seeks to complement state efforts and align the norms of India's Right to Education Act.

In rural areas where GPIL operates, we address the shortcomings in the teaching and learning environment by supplementing necessary provisions. Our initiatives include providing trained community teachers, improving school infrastructure, supplying equipment, books, financial assistance, and nutritional support. We also strive to expand learning opportunities for individuals of all ages and abilities, promoting computer literacy, facilitating access to higher education through scholarships, and imparting functional literacy and vocational skills to vulnerable groups.
